February 2012 Luncheon

Our Guest speakers will be Ms. Kimberly Weissman, DHS Spokesperson and Lead Outreach for US-VISIT and Ms. Marianne Martz, Deputy Assistant Director for Information Sharing and Technical Assistance, US-VISIT.  They will be speaking about the US-VISIT program and its policies and requirements. 
 
Ms. Weismann and Ms. Martz would like to ensure that their presentation covers all aspects of the US-VISIT program that interest you, so they have requested that you send me any questions or areas of interest or concern so that they can be sure to incorporate them into their speech.
 

For this luncheon, Chef Tate has prepared the following menu for us for that day:

First Course:  White Bean and Rosemary Soup with Crisp Pancetta                  

Main Course:  Roasted lamb Loin with Couscous, Dried Fruit, and Toasted Almonds

                     Vegetarian Choice: Gnocchi with Butternut Squash, Brussels Sprouts, Parmesan-Sage Cream

Dessert: Chocolate-Cherry Blackout Cake with Vanilla Creme, Cherry Sorbet

Fine Red and White Wines

Starbucks Coffee and Imported Teas

 

As always, the cost of the luncheon $35.00 for members and $50.00 for non-members. Kindly RSVP to Kit Moss (cc.programchair@gmail.com or 301-581-0050) or to Ingrid Richardson Mc-Kinnon (ingrich@aol.com or 202-262-9030by Friday, February 17, 2012. As our luncheons are specifically prepared for us by our private chef, we must have an accurate head count by then. If you find that you are unable to attend, you may contact Kit Moss by noon, Monday, February 20th to cancel your reservation. You will receive an e-mail acknowledging your cancellation and will not be held responsible for the meal. If after that time you learn that you will be unable to attend, please send someone else in your place. Your membership price or Lunch Punch Card will be honored. If you do not fill your spot, you will be asked to cover the cost of the lunch.
